What you get for one payment

Every comment, classified

Not a wall of text and not a word cloud. Each comment is sorted into a content request, pain point, question, feedback or experience, with sentiment — and deep-linked to the original so you can reply or verify in one click.

Every transcript

The full spoken content of every video in scope, timestamped and exportable as SRT, VTT, plain text or JSON. The raw material for repurposing, research, or feeding an AI agent.

A performance model

Which videos beat the channel's own baseline, and by how much, so you can see what worked before you read why.

How it works

  1. Paste a channel handle, a channel URL, or any video link. A video resolves to the channel behind it.
  2. Read the free teaser: real classified comments from that channel, in about ten seconds, with no signup and no card.
  3. Buy the full report if it earns it. Minutes later you have every comment, every transcript and the performance model, plus CSV and JSON exports.
  4. The link auto-deletes after 7 days. There is no account, so there's nothing to cancel and nothing stored about you.

Who it's for

  • Founders and marketers mining a niche want what an audience keeps asking for, in their own words, instead of guessing what to build or write next.
  • Anyone vetting a creator before paying for a placement knows engagement numbers can be inflated; a comment section is much harder to fake.
  • Creators studying a competitor get the channel they can't log into, read as thoroughly as their own.
  • People building with AI get transcripts plus classified demand, a corpus an agent can actually use.

Try it on one video, free

Every part of the report exists as a free single-video tool, no signup and no card. They're the same machinery, scoped to one video instead of a channel.

How it compares

Honest comparisons with the tools people weigh us against, including where each of them is the better buy: BeyondComments, OneTube, ExportComments, vidIQ & TubeBuddy.

Common questions

Can I analyse a channel I don't own?

Yes, that's the point. Channel X-Ray reads public data, so there's no OAuth and no login. Paste any handle, channel URL or even a single video link and you get the channel behind it. Tools like vidIQ and TubeBuddy can only read comments on channels you control.

What exactly is in a report?

Three layers. Every comment on the channel's recent uploads, classified into content requests, pain points, questions, feedback and experiences, each deep-linked back to the exact comment on YouTube. Every video's transcript, timestamped, exportable as SRT, VTT, TXT or JSON. And a performance model ranking every video by how far it beat that channel's own baseline.

How much of the channel does it read?

The last 30 days of uploads by default, or 90 days if you choose the wider window at checkout. Comments and transcripts for every video in that window, not a sample.

Is there a subscription?

No. You pay once per report, there's no account to create and nothing renews. The report link auto-deletes 7 days after purchase.

How long does it take?

The free teaser runs in about ten seconds. A full report takes minutes, in your browser, not an emailed PDF that arrives later.

Can I export the data?

Yes. Everything downloads as CSV or JSON, including the classification on each comment, so it goes straight into a spreadsheet, a research deck or your own model.
