Why this doesn't exist on YouTube

The comment section is built for scrolling, not for finding. There is no search box, no filter beyond “top” and “newest,” and browser find only sees the comments already loaded on screen. So the answer you know is in there — the one person who explained the fix, the timestamp someone posted, the question you asked — stays buried. This page loads the comments, then searches them properly.

Finder, search box and viewer in one

Leave the search box empty and this is a plain comment viewer: the loaded comments in order, each with its author, age and like count, and the creator's own replies marked. Type a word and it becomes a comment finder, narrowing the list as you type. Type a username and it finds everything that person said on the video.

Every match arrives already sorted

Each comment is tagged as a content request, pain point, question, feedback or experience, with a sentiment label. So “search for the word tutorial” also tells you which of those hits were people asking for one.

Searching your own comment history

A common reason people search for this is finding a comment they left, somewhere, some time ago. That lives in your YouTube account's own history — private account data that no third-party tool can read, and you should be wary of any that claims it can. This page searches one public video's comments, which is a different job.

Finding comments across a whole channel

This tool searches the most recent ~100 comments on one video. When the comment you need could be on any of a channel's videos, the channel report collects up to ~500 comments per video from every upload in the last 30 or 90 days, classifies each one, and lets you filter them by type and sentiment or export the lot to CSV/JSON and search it in a spreadsheet.
